    RESCUE INDEED! This Icon is a source of comfort and hope. To what ends will Christ go to rescue the lost?? (And who isn’t counted among this lot?) Take heart Dives! He’s on His way! Saint Clement of Alexandria (150 – 215) says, “We can set no limits to the agency of the Redeemer to redeem, to rescue, to discipline in His work, and so will He continue to operate after this life.”
