Mundaka Upanisad 2.2.5

"In him are woven the sky and the earth and all the regions of the air, and in him rest the mind an all the powers of life. Know him as the ONE and leave aside all other worlds. He is the bridge of immortality' (Mascaro 79).

The wise men in the East seek him...Do you?

I entered a long post last night in your blog and mine and neither posted.

As you know, Neo, I have more than a passing understanding of contemporary gnosticism and of the Upanishads. I don't know this one, but I know the sentiment. A yogi, not Yoda, was instrumental in turning me toward Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There is a vacuum in Vedic thought. Any seeker is eventually in need of a personal God, but not just any object of devotion will serve. To know God, it has seemed wise to start with Him who I have known from my youth claimed to be God. All honor and praise and glory be to His Holy name, forever and ever.
